From 2011 till February 2014 he made the lives of Libyans a living hell till the USA, UK AND FRANCE decided that they can not have a failed state so they financed Haftar to invent a coup de tat in February 2014 which no Libyan citizen took him seriously and was condemned by all Libyans at this point he took refuge at the house of the Ambassador Deborah Jones in Tripoli he stayed there till they(USA/CIA) could take him out of Tripoli and ship him off to Benghazi where he was given all of the army supplies, planes, advisors, PR and got through to some of the National Army who followed him and made the second coup de tat in May 2014. Haftar was advised by his PR and army advisors to make a statement where he admits that the Jamahirya revolution was the real revolution & bloodless. The 17 Feb is not a real revolution because they used foreign intervention which concluded by NATO bombing us. This fooled the Libyans for a few weeks, because in the first difficulty that Haftar encountered with the Ansar Al Sharia he escaped out of Benghazi and THE TRIBES TOOK OVER. So please do not be fooled that Haftar is doing all the work. None of the Tribe leaders trust him and neither the government in Tobruk. The PM Thani is a very good diplomat and the FUKUS has insisted that if you want to have a country with peace and quite you will have to let Haftar take the lead and that is what they have done. In reality Haftar has only a few hundred soldiers who are protecting him while the Honorable Tribes are the ones who are fighting and cleaning the country.)
